ABOUT

The main objective of Business Idea Competition is to stimulate entrepreneurship, encouraging the acquisition of business modeling and planning skills as well as developing creativity

Business model

The main goal is to demonstrate the potential of the plan for commercialization, scalability, feasibility of replication and the ability to meet customer needs. All business plans and presentations must be in English.

Presentation

All presentations should be in English and should not exceed 10 minutes. Teams should be able to clearly showcase their idea and its potential, show knowledge of the market and basic financial information and be ready to answer the questions from the jury.

Awards

A prize for the 3 best international business ideas a paid weeklong trip to Munich, which includes travel, accommodation and intensive project acceleration at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship.

TIMELINE

Till the 31th of March

Registration of the project on Strascheg Award and online platform Deep Dive .
The 25th of May

After receiving feedback provide updated business modela and presentation of the project.
Till the 11th of May

Complete Deep Dive online course. Provide an advanced version of the project business model in English.
The 29th of May

Award Ceremony. Klaus Sailer (Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (Germany)) will award the winner teams.

Who can participate in competition?

Participants must be russian or foreign university students or young entrepreneurs (under 30 years old).
Business model requirements?

By the business model we mean a simplified model of a business plan, for example, Alexander Osterwalder's business model. Read more in the contest rules.
What subjects of projects?

Any project can take part in the competition, but innovative SDG ideas for sustainable development to improve well-being and protect our planet have higher priority.
How many participants in team?

Teams should consist of 1-3 members
Deadlines of participants registration

Registration of participants on the educational portal is open from February 10, 2020 to March 31, 2020. In order to qualify for the competition you should take short online course.

Participants must be Russian or foreign university students or young entrepreneurs (under 30 years old).
